“This afternoon we signed a final contract for 100 million doses of Moderna vaccine and 100 million doses of Pfizer vaccine,” RIA Novosti quoted Biden as saying.

According to him, the delivery of the previously purchased 200 million doses was accelerated - they will be delivered by the end of July.

“In addition, another 100 million doses will not be received at the end of June, but at the end of May,” the American leader added.

Biden also clarified that "the United States has enough vaccine supplies to vaccinate 300 million Americans against coronavirus by the end of July."

Earlier, the American president promised to allocate $ 160 billion for measures to combat coronavirus infection, as well as funds for one-time payments to the population as part of the America's rescue plan.
