Jever (dpa / lni) - In an accident on the railway line between Jever and Wittmund, a truck and a train collided.
As the police announced on Thursday, the truck driver was seriously injured and three people were slightly injured.
The B210 was completely closed in the afternoon so that the ambulances could arrive and depart unhindered.
The train traffic was also interrupted until the evening, confirmed a railway spokeswoman.
At the Ottenburger Weg level crossing, the truck and a NordWestBahn railcar coming from Wilhelmshaven collided after initial investigations for an unexplained cause.
Numerous rescue workers were involved in the operation.
The investigations into the course of the accident are ongoing.
