Hamburg (dpa) - The latest corona case at THW Kiel has resulted in the next game cancellation for the German handball champions.
The European Handball Federation (EHF) has taken the Champions League game planned for next Tuesday from the schedule.
The Bundesliga games against SC DHfK Leipzig and TBV Lemgo Lippe as well as the premier class appearance at Motor Zaporozhye in the Ukraine had previously been canceled.
If the quarantine continues, the home game against RK Celje is also at risk.
The "zebras" will compete against the Slovenes on Thursday.
The next date would be the Bundesliga duel with SC Magdeburg on February 21.
The Kiel do not have to worry about getting into the knockout round of the Champions League.
The EHF has decided that all participants in the group stage advance to the round of 16.
