Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - A 48-year-old man was fatally injured during forest work in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district.
According to the Freiburg police, he tried to pull a felled tree out of the forest with the forest machine.
The trunk jammed, broke through the cab and seriously injured the man.
Two other forest workers immediately made an emergency call so that the fire brigade could free the man.
The forest worker died of serious injuries in a clinic.
