The ski lifts are still at a standstill but despite this, hotel rentals are registering new reservations for the month of February.

At the microphone of Europe 1, Franck Gervais, CEO of Pierre & Vacances, believes that the results of the February holidays will be better than that of the Christmas holidays.

Despite the health constraints, the curfew at 6 p.m. and the ski lifts still at a standstill, the figures for hotel reservations for the February holidays are better than expected.

"It looks better than expected", confirmed Franck Gervais, CEO of Pierre & Vacances, Thursday at the microphone of Europe 1. "We are hopeful of reaching occupancy rates around 30%" , he continued.

"About 30% of customers who had booked before the Prime Minister's announcements, thinking that the lifts would reopen, kept their stay," developed Franck Gervais.

New reservation requests were also registered.

“There are more bookings this week than the same week a year ago,” he continued.
