On the afternoon of February 9, local time, former South Korean President Park Geun-hye, who was isolated at the Notre Dame Hospital in Seoul, South Korea due to close contact with new crown cases, returned to the Seoul Detention Center after 20 days.

Park Geun-hye had close contact with the staff of the detention center who was diagnosed with the new crown virus on January 19, local time, and the results of two subsequent nucleic acid tests were negative.

Considering that Park Geun-hye was 68 years old and could not treat her old illness during the two-week isolation period, the Ministry of Justice allowed her to stay in the hospital for 6 days after the isolation was lifted.
