Norway's withdrawal was announced on Tuesday by the French Federation.

The Iceland team imitated it on Wednesday, justifying its decision by the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic in Europe, without further details.

The Blue, title holders, were initially due to start the second edition of the French Tournament against Iceland on February 17 in Sedan, before going to Metz to challenge Switzerland and then Norway on February 20 and 23.

The last meeting played by the French women's team dates back to December 1 against Kazakhstan (12-0) in Vannes at the conclusion of a qualifying phase for Euro-2022 crowned with success.
