Sankt Augustin (dpa / lnw) - A fire in Sankt Augustin in the Rhein-Sieg district destroyed two carports with one car each and made two semi-detached houses uninhabitable.
During the extinguishing work, three firefighters injured themselves slightly, as the fire brigade announced on Thursday.
The residents saved themselves from the buildings and are unharmed.
The fire broke out in the carports between the semi-detached houses on Thursday night and then spread to the houses.
In the morning the fire brigade was still busy with extinguishing and cleaning up.
Due to the cold temperatures, black ice temporarily formed on the road from the extinguishing water.
