Krakow am See (dpa / mv) - A missing man from Krakow am See (Rostock district) survived the frosty night on Thursday.
As a police spokesman announced, the 49-year-old suddenly disappeared the day before.
The relatives then alerted the police, who searched for the man with several sniffer dogs and a helicopter and a thermal imaging camera.
The emergency services found him shortly before midnight at minus seven degrees.
The wanted man was lost several kilometers away in the forest and was completely hypothermic, so that, according to an emergency doctor, he would probably not have survived the whole night.
He came to a clinic.
