Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - The corona cabinet of the black-green state government wants to adopt the new rules for the Hessian population to protect against the virus on Thursday.

The steps agreed in the federal-state switchboard must be fixed in a new ordinance for Hesse.

Prime Minister Volker Bouffier (CDU) will present and explain the resolutions after consulting the inter-departmental crisis team.

This is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

The extension of the lockdown, initially limited to mid-February, should also apply in Hesse until March 7th.

The federal and state governments agreed on Wednesday because of the still too high number of corona infections and the particularly rapidly spreading virus mutations.

Hairdressers should, however, be allowed to open again on March 1st if they strictly observe hygiene requirements.
