Borrell called the condition for the normalization of relations between the EU and Russia

He said this at a press conference following a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council in Brussels.

"Until the implementation of the Minsk agreements, normalization in relations between the EU and Russia will not take place," TASS quoted Borrell as saying.

In addition, earlier Borrell said that the European Union and Russia are at a "historic crossroads" in terms of mutual relations.

On February 11, Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, proposed to the OSCE Permanent Council to adopt a joint statement in support of the Minsk Agreements on Ukraine and to call for their speedy implementation.
