Now more than 100 people in Jämtland County have died in covid-19

With 102 deaths, the county is at the bottom in terms of the number of deaths in covid-19.

Less than one percent of the dead in the country came from Jämtland County.

What the National Board of Health and Welfare has in its statistics are those who, according to the cause of death certificate, have died in covid-19.

Of those who died, 55.9 percent, or 57 people older than 85 years, 40 people between 70 and 84 years and five under 70 years.

The vast majority of the deceased lived in Östersund municipality.
