Via the Sustainable Health app, the user can get tips and advice on, among other things, exercise exercises, food tips and activities where they can meet others.

The idea is that it will help the elderly to a healthier life.

Previously, Sustainable Health as an e-service was available via the computer, but now it is being launched as an application that can be downloaded to mobile phones and tablets.

How should seniors find the app?

- We get to market it in different ways, including through our open operations.

Then I hope that it is spread among the elderly, that they tell each other about the app, says Stockholm City's senior citizens' councilor Erik Slottner (KD).

"Fairly cheap"

The app has cost half a million kronor to develop, together with the previous e-service, it has cost one million kronor.

But there are no estimates on how many people are expected to use the app.

- We have not produced any figures for potential users, but in 2019 there were around 146,000 people who were over 65 years old.

And in terms of costs for elderly care, the cost of the app is quite cheap, says Erik Slottner.
