After 4 hours of discussions, the general feeling is that

the Malian Prime Minister

now wants to take matters into his own hands so that the local political class is closely involved in the process of organizing future elections and institutional reforms.

Moctar Ouane is the first to congratulate himself on this.

“

We must, together, build compromises, very strong consensus in order to allow precisely that, in a peaceful climate, the transition can carry out all the desired reforms.

 "

To achieve this, several leaders of political parties present at the meeting asked for example to respect the duration of the transition, 18 months, not one more.

“

People have above all said that we have to keep within the allotted time,

insists Tiéman Hubert Coulibaly, president of the Union for Democracy and Development, the UDD

.

It is now up to the government to open the most urgent projects.

"

The Malian political class and the Prime Minister have undertaken to create a framework for consultation in order to maintain contact.
