It was on Monday that the region presented its investigation where 30 regional employees are said to have received an mRNA vaccine that would actually go to the oldest citizens.
According to the Region's investigation, this must have happened despite their boss saying no.
"There were 30 doses there - nothing more with it"
SVT Norrbotten has spoken to one of the employees who describes the incident differently.
They must have been at work when they were asked if they wanted to take the vaccine the same day because it must be used within a certain time frame.
Hen also describes the mood within the working group as upset after the region's description of what happened.
- We received the offer, approval and took the vaccine.
When we go there, there are 30 doses there and we vaccinate, there was nothing more to it, says the employee.
Were you surprised when they came out with the press release?
- Had we had our immediate boss say no, we would of course not have taken it.
The chief physician does not rule out misunderstandings
What hurts the employee the most is precisely the region's wording that the employees have vaccinated themselves even though their boss said no, and insists that they have not received anything like that.
The chief physician at the Norrbotten Region does not rule out that this may be a misunderstanding.
- I can not comment on that part actually, I have not talked to those individuals in that way but this is what we have come to.

The matter has now been handed over to the relevant division manager who will take the talks further.
