Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lnw) - The quarter-final top game in the DFB Cup between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund will be shown live on free TV.

In the round of the last eight, ARD shows the Borussia duel on March 2nd (8.45pm) and the second Bundesliga match between RB Leipzig and VfL Wolfsburg (8.45pm) one day later.

Sport1 will broadcast the game of second division Jahn Regensburg against Werder Bremen on March 2nd (6.30 p.m.).

The clash between fourth division Rot-Weiss Essen and Holstein Kiel, which is scheduled for March 3 (6.30 p.m.), cannot be seen on free TV.

The pay TV broadcaster Sky shows all four quarter-finals live on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The semifinals are scheduled for the weekend of May 1st and 2nd of the 2020/21 Corona season.

The finale in Berlin was scheduled for Ascension Day (May 13th) and, as an exception, will not take place on a Saturday.

Especially the Borussia duel is explosive.

Gladbach coach Marco Rose could switch to Westphalia after the season.
