Frielendorf (dpa / lhe) - After a fire broke out in an apartment building in Frielendorf (Schwalm-Eder district), the tenants and their five-month-old child were able to save themselves from the affected apartment.
The small child was taken to a hospital with suspected smoke poisoning, the police said in Kassel on Tuesday.
The other residents of the house had been warned of the fire in good time by the father.
