The authorities stated that they will severely punish those who violate the home isolation regulations based on the principle of intolerance.

  South Korea’s Central Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters stated on the 9th that an analysis of 56 new confirmed cases of new crowns (11 local infections and 45 imported cases) after the 8th showed that 26 of them were infected with the mutant new crown virus (4 Cases are local infection cases and 22 cases are imported cases overseas).

On December 14, 2020, local time, in Seoul, South Korea, citizens lined up to be tested for the new crown virus, and workers laid signs on the ground to maintain social distance.

  Among them, 24 cases were infected with a mutated virus found in the UK, one case was infected with a mutated virus found in South Africa, and the other was infected with a mutated virus found in Brazil.

  As a result, since October 2020, South Korea has confirmed a total of 80 cases of mutated new coronavirus infection, of which 64 were infected with the mutated virus found in the UK, 10 were infected with the mutated virus found in South Africa, and 6 were infected with the mutated virus found in Brazil .

  Li Xiangyuan, head of the epidemiological investigation and analysis team of the Central Anti-epidemic Countermeasures Headquarters, said that the survey results of the above-mentioned 22 imported cases of mutated new coronavirus infection showed that no contacts have been infected with the mutated new coronavirus.

  In addition, the 4 new local cases of mutated new coronavirus infections were all foreigners, and they were all related to the previous collective infection of foreign relatives in Gyeongnam and Jeonnam.

Except for these 4 cases of infection, no more cases have been found.
