Juventus Turin qualified for its seventh Italian Cup final in ten years on Tuesday after defending against Inter Milan (0-0) the option taken in the first leg at San Siro (2-1) .

Antonio Conte will therefore have to wait a while to hope to win an Italian Cup as a coach.

His Inter Milan, already out of European competitions, now only has the championship to hope to avoid another blank year.

His Turin counterpart Andrea Pirlo remains in the running on all fronts for his debut as a coach, having already won his first trophy as a technician in January, the Italian Supercup.

In the final, Juventus (the most successful with 13 victories), will find either Naples for a revenge of the final won last year by the players of Gennaro Gattuso or Atalanta.

The second semi-final return Wednesday evening in Bergamo remains open after the 0-0 first leg.
