The French Parliament voted that day to formally approve the extension of the French public health emergency until June 1.

  According to the epidemic data released by the French Ministry of Health that night, the cumulative number of deaths from new coronary pneumonia in France is now 80,147, with 724 new deaths.

After the United States, Brazil, India, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Italy, France became the seventh country in the world with more than 80,000 deaths.

  France added 18,870 confirmed cases on the 9th, with a total of 3,360,235 confirmed cases.
