The Al-Ahly club mission received an official notification from the International Football Association (FIFA) that Hussein Al-Shahat and Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim "Kahraba" were banned from participating in the third and fourth-place match between Al-Ahly and Brazilian Palmeiras scheduled for Thursday.

FIFA's decision came due to the players ’failure to adhere to the precautionary measures after the Al-Ahly and Bayern Munich match, and their violation of the medical rules imposed by the organizers on the participants, which prevent them from contacting anyone from outside to avoid infection with the Coronavirus.

Abu Trika expressed his regret for this incident, and posted a tweet in which he wished the team good luck in its next match.
