Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Two members of the state parliament sue after incidents in parliament against the state parliament and its president Muhterem Aras (Greens).

On Monday, the cases of AfD MP Daniel Rottmann and former AfD MP Heinrich Fiechtner were heard orally before the Constitutional Court in Stuttgart.

It is about calls to order, being kicked out of the plenary session and the background check of MPs employees.

A decision is still pending.

Fiechtner was excluded from the meeting after provocations in June 2020 and allowed the police to carry him out of the room.

Therefore Aras also excluded him from the five subsequent sessions.

He sees his constitutional rights violated.

In a separate proceeding, Fiechtner takes action against rules in the house rules of the state parliament for the police to check employees.

Rottmann defends himself against a call to order from Landtag Vice President Sabine Kurtz.

The CDU politician had reprimanded him after he had described the Green MP Hans-Ulrich Sckerl in October as an "anti-Semite".
