Mikhail Efremov filed a cassation appeal against the verdict

This was reported to RT by the executive secretary of the POC, Alexei Melnikov, who visited him in pre-trial detention center No. 5 in Moscow.

“Mikhail Efremov said that he had filed a cassation appeal against the verdict and hoped that it would be considered while he was in Moscow,” Melnikov said, adding that the date of the trial is still unknown.

Earlier, the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Belgorod Region said that Efremov had been convoyed to Moscow to participate in investigative actions.
