Koblenz (dpa / lrs) - With the six correct numbers in the lottery classic 6 out of 49, one lucky guy won more than 1.5 million euros on Saturday evening.
The ticket had been handed in in Koblenz, as Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz announced on Monday.
With the system tip “6 out of 8” the lottery player got the correct numbers 8, 12, 23, 38, 41 and 48 and won exactly 1,509,537.60 euros.
The only thing missing to win the jackpot of around eleven million euros was the correct super number 9. “This is already the fourth million dollar win that has been made at Lotto Rhineland-Palatinate since the beginning of the year,” said Landeslotto boss Jürgen Häfner at the company's headquarters in Koblenz.
