Frankfurt (dpa / lhe) - After a knife attack with a seriously injured person in the Frankfurt train station district, the police are investigating an attempted homicide.
The 33-year-old was on the B-level at the Kaiserstraße staircase on Sunday morning when there was suddenly a fight between him and one or more people, as the officials announced on Monday.
The man was attacked with a knife and robbed.
According to the information, the 33-year-old was taken to hospital with severe stab injuries to the upper body.
The police later arrested two men.
However, as the suspicion was not confirmed, they were released again.
It was only at the end of January that a knife attack broke out in the station district, in which several people were injured, some seriously.
At the time, the police caught a suspect who was taken to a psychiatric facility.
