Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - After the heavy onset of winter in North Rhine-Westphalia, rail travelers still have to be prepared for cancellations and delays.
In long-distance traffic, the Dortmund hub is particularly affected, as Deutsche Bahn announced on Monday morning.
Delays are expected until the morning.
Local transport will also remain suspended in large parts of Westphalia until 9 a.m.
The following lines are therefore canceled: RE2, RE17, RE18, RE42 as well as numerous regional and S-Bahn lines.
Deutsche Bahn advises all travelers and commuters who cannot postpone their journey to check their connection in good time before their planned departure.
