Postau (dpa / lby) - A drunk driver knocked over two telephone poles in his car in Lower Bavaria, against which several other cars then crashed.
The 35-year-old skidded on a street near Postau (Landshut district) and got off the road, the police said on Monday.
The car overturned early on Sunday evening and brought the masts down.
A total of four drivers crashed into the masts that lay across the street.
Two cars had to be towed.
Only the person who caused the accident was injured.
According to a police spokesman, he was heavily drunk.
His driver's license was withdrawn.
