Gummersbach (dpa / lnw) - Employees in the Gummersbach district who did not belong to the top priority were also vaccinated with residual amounts of vaccine.
The district said on Monday that numerous employees of the Office for Ambulance Service, Fire Protection and Civil Protection had been vaccinated.
However, district administrator Jochen Hagt regretted not only those of the first priority were approached.
"Also 25 employees of the control center and - wrongly - seven other employees of the office" were vaccinated.
Four employees from the health department had also received vaccinations.
The district explained that after the start of the corona vaccinations in the care facilities at the end of December, more vaccine was initially delivered.
The vials would have contained more vaccination doses than specified by the manufacturer.
The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians asked for other people who would like to be vaccinated.
District administrator and district director pointed out that they themselves had not been vaccinated.
