“In connection with the increased danger of avalanches from the slopes of volcanoes and hills, the Kamchatka Regional Avalanche Center has announced an avalanche warning.

So, in the period from 8 to 11 February 2021 inclusive, a spontaneous melting of snow masses is possible in the mountain areas of Yelizovsky, Ust-Bolsheretsky, Sobolevsky, Milkovsky, Ust-Kamchatsky, Bystrinsky districts, as well as from Vilyuchinsky, Kozelsky, Koryaksky and Avachinsky volcanoes ", - the message says.

Also, an avalanche danger has been declared on the territory of the Kronotsky Reserve.

Earlier, rescuers warned of avalanche danger in three mountainous areas of Sakhalin.
