Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - The technical relief organization has freed 6 trucks from snow on the Autobahn.
A car had turned during the snowfall and blocked the lane, as a police spokesman said on Monday morning.
About 100 vehicles then jammed on Sunday evening on the A6 between the Nürnberg-Süd intersection and Roth in the direction of Amberg.
Several trucks had been snowed in before the car was recovered.
The technical relief organization freed the trucks into the night.
Nobody got hurt.
In all of Middle Franconia there were 73 accidents between the beginning of the snowfall on Sunday and Monday morning, and nine people were injured.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), five to 15 centimeters of fresh snow fell in Franconia.
