Neu-Ulm (dpa / lby) - A 65-year-old man from Altenstadt (Neu-Ulm district) was shot and seriously injured by his 77-year-old neighbor on Monday.
The man was being treated in the hospital, but there was no risk to his life, the police said.
The shots were fired in the courtyard of a residential building.
The 77-year-old fled from the police in a car.
The man and his revolver were found and arrested about two kilometers from the crime scene.
The background to the act was initially open.
According to the police, there had been an argument between the two neighbors for a long time.
