Every year before the Spring Festival, at the annual Hefei New Year Fair, you can see the Taiwan exhibition area is crowded. During this period, it is also the best time for many Taiwanese exhibitors to "Nuggets" Hefei New Year Fair.

However, due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the new year's purchase exhibition originally scheduled to be held in Hefei from the end of January to early February this year was cancelled.

The reporter recently visited Taiwanese businessmen in Anhui and learned that under the epidemic, they did not abandon the local New Year goods market.

Facing the first Chinese New Year under normalized epidemic prevention and control, they changed their minds and opened up marketing methods through multiple channels. Their sales for the New Year did not catch cold, but the heat remained.

"Don't miss it when you pass by. This is a handmade bread and snack made by Taiwanese folks. It is a natural, low-fat, and low-sugar healthy food! Pineapple cake, marble toast, Hokkaido shredded buns, beef biscuits... delicious and delicious!" 2 On the 4th, it was the "small year" in the Chinese folk tradition. In the corner of the canteen on the second floor of Building 3 of the Anhui Provincial Government Administrative Center, Wang Yujing, deputy chairman and secretary-general of the Anhui Provincial General Branch of the Taiwan League, rolled up his sleeves with a full face. Helping the Taiwanese businessmen shout loudly with a smile.

On the same day, Ren Liangfeng, the founder of Taiwanese businessmen in Anhui and the founder of Mai Tian Jipin baking brand, brought her team to promote the New Year goods.

In just one and a half hours, the products brought were sold out.

Ren Liangfeng told reporters that she was very happy that the local authorities not only coordinated the arrangement of the promotion activities on the day, but also made a special trip to visit and purchase cakes, and Taiwanese compatriots also helped the sales on site.

"With everyone's concern, my heart is warm, and the year is booming!"

At the Hefei Taiwan Boutique Exhibition Center, Liu Dongfei, director of the Taiwan Chinese Cross-Strait Exchange Association and general manager of Anhui Taishu Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., is busy receiving guests who come to purchase goods.

For many years, he has been the "king of goods" of Taiwan's specialty foods. Especially during the annual Hefei New Year Fair, he organizes many Taiwanese exhibitors to show and sell New Year's goods in Anhui.

Liu Dongfei told reporters that in order to cope with the changes, this year he mainly conducted group purchases and pre-sales.

In previous New Year Fairs, Taiwan's fruits were in short supply, and sales were particularly good.

"Despite the impact of the epidemic this year, after we innovated the sales model, the effect was very good. After the goods arrived in Hefei, they were all sold out in less than a day, and many customers did not pick up the goods."

The reporter learned that in addition to changing the past marketing methods, the effect of multi-point layout is gradually showing.

In November last year, Liu Dongfei began to deploy in northern Anhui, setting up branches in Fuyang and Shou County, Anhui.

In just two months, a local market has been expanded.

"This year we received a lot of orders from these two places. At present, our warehouse basically has no supply. A few days ago, the sales were only two to three million yuan (RMB)." Liu Dongfei said frankly that the mainland Chinese New Year market has great potential. If you want to take root, the key depends on quality and reputation.

At the same time, he should also act accordingly. This year, he helped Taiwanese companies "digest" a lot of production capacity through his own sales channels.
