Berlin (dpa) - Between Berlin, Brandenburg and other federal states there are restrictions in rail traffic due to heavy snowfall.
So far, long-distance traffic has been mainly affected, but there are also failures in regional traffic between Brandenburg and Magdeburg, as the railway announced on Sunday morning.
Long-distance traffic between Berlin and Frankfurt am Main via Braunschweig / Kassel is suspended until further notice, the same applies to long-distance traffic between Berlin, Hanover and Dortmund / Cologne.
According to the information, there are no long-distance trains between Berlin, Leipzig / Halle and Erfurt at least until midday.
Rail traffic between Hamburg and Berlin is restricted.
