Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A man was killed in an apartment fire in Hamburg-Neuenfelde.
For a previously unexplained cause, an apartment on the first floor of an apartment building caught fire on Saturday evening.
A seriously injured man was discovered there who died of his serious injuries while still on site.
Several residents in the neighboring apartments were trapped because of the smoke from the fire - some of them were rescued by the fire department using portable ladders.
