"A note of protest was sent to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the embassy of our country in Moscow," the IRNA agency quoted the official representative of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry Said Khatibzade as saying.
Khatibzadeh explained that this is due to the publication on the Arabic version of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Twitter page, which mentioned the "Arabian Gulf", which is called "Persian" in Iran.
Earlier, the Supreme Leader of Iran called the condition for Tehran's return to the JCPOA.
