Klingenthal (dpa) - The Four Hills Tournament second Karl Geiger is in the ski jumping World Cup in a real low form.
After his 32nd place on Saturday, the ski flying world champion did not make it into the second round in Klingenthal on Sunday and even ended up in 38th place this time.Geiger jumped only 123.5 meters and was the worst athlete of the six Germans.
A good two weeks before the World Cup in his hometown of Oberstdorf, the Allgäu has completely lost the lightness that gave him the flying World Championship title and an individual victory in the Four Hills Tournament this winter.
Next weekend, it's the turn of the ski jumpers in Zakopane, Poland.
All other German jumpers made it into the second round in Vogtland.
