  Brunei's Ministry of Interior has instructed that lion dance activities must be suspended for 30 minutes before and after the noon prayer time.

At the same time, fireworks and firecrackers are not allowed during the lion dance performance, and the members of the lion dance must be of Chinese descent.

  The Ministry of the Interior stated that lion dance activities are not allowed in hotels, restaurants, commercial buildings, roads and public places.

Lion dance activities require advance notification to the Royal Brunei Police and compliance with the terms and conditions instructed by the relevant authorities.
