Homburg / Saar (dpa / lrs) - In Homburg (Saarpfalz district), an aircraft bomb from the Second World War was defused on Sunday.
The defusing was "very unproblematic over the stage," said a spokesman for the city.
It only lasted an hour.
Several streets were closed in the morning, and some residents had to leave their homes.
The streets could be opened again at around 10 a.m.
The bomb weighed around 50 kilograms and was one of the smaller specimens.
