It was found that the EU-European Union, which has a permit system for the export of vaccines, has permitted the export of vaccines produced in the region to Japan.

It seems that the vaccine was developed by American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and others, but details have not been disclosed.

This was revealed by an official of the European Commission, an EU executive body, and after receiving an application to export the vaccine produced in the region to Japan and scrutinizing the contents, permission was granted on the 5th. It means that it has been decided.

The vaccine is believed to have been developed by American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German Biontech, but details have not been disclosed.

The EU has so far licensed three vaccines, including Pfizer, but the initial supply is well below schedule.

For this reason, when exporting vaccines outside the region, measures that require prior application and permission to be obtained have been introduced from last month to March, and WHO = World Health Organization has regulated exports. There were voices of concern, such as stating that it would lead to "a very disturbing tendency."
