New progress was made in the investigation of the ship capsize in Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province.
According to information released by the Anhui Provincial Emergency Management Department this afternoon, the accident involved a villager who spontaneously boarded a wooden boat and was suspected of illegal fishing in the waters of the mooring lake near the village. The hull rolled over and all fell into the water, causing accidental casualties.
In the middle of the night of February 4, 14 villagers from Mashan Village, Xiacang Town, Susong County, Anqing City, Anqing City, took a boat to the Wangjiang waters of Bohu Lake to fish, and the boat rolled over accidentally.
On the morning of February 5, after receiving the public alarm, Susong County, Anqing City launched an emergency response plan, organized public security, fire, fishery law enforcement teams, blue sky rescue teams and other forces to carry out search and rescue work.
At around 8:40 am on the 6th, the last missing person from the ship capsize in Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province was found and confirmed to have died. The death toll in the accident has risen to 11.
