The purple-whites lost against VfL Bochum 1: 2 (0: 2) on Saturday and thus suffered their sixth defeat in a row.

VfL Bochum, on the other hand, remains on the road to promotion in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The Bochum team shortened the gap to the leaders Hamburger SV to two points.

Before the break, the guests took the lead with an own goal from Osnabrück defender Bashkim Ajdini (18th minute) and a header from Anthony Losilla (36th).

Both hits were preceded by a corner.

In the second 45 minutes, VfL Osnabrück tried everything again, but the Lower Saxony did not succeed more than the connection goal by Sebastian Kerk (64th).

It was the seventh home defeat for Osnabrück in a row.
