February 06, 2021 He allegedly lured a 14-year-old through Telegram and Whatsapp, sending intimate photos and trying to get the boy pornographic performances through video calls and messages.
The child's mother found out everything and triggered the investigation.
The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Ischia arrested a 30-year-old on charges of soliciting minors, attempted child pornography and possession of pornographic material.
The detailed complaint from the mother made it possible to reconstruct the whole story.
The man allegedly started chatting with the minor in February 2020, on Telegram and Whatsapp.
The mother, when she realized that her son was having sexual conversations with an adult in chats, turned to the Carabinieri.
The investigations, thanks to witnesses, search and seizure of computer equipment, as well as technical advice, would have made it possible to find, in the 30-year-old's smartphone, a large amount of child pornography material (114 images and 136 videos).
