REPORTAGE

The emotion was palpable during the white march in tribute to Estelle Luce.

The commemoration brought together around 500 people, in an impressive silence, on the heights of the town of Orschwihr, near Colmar.

The companion of the young woman of 39 years, murdered on January 26, spoke and thanked the crowd for his expressions of solidarity.

Very moved, friends and neighbors of this HR manager, but also many anonymous people, wanted to be present.

A palpable emotion

The companion of the young woman of 39 years thus expressed a few brief seconds.

“The pain will never go away. In any case, everything you have witnessed and everything you do for us is a little comfort,” he said.

The couple's four children then released doves and balloons while those gathered placed a white rose at the foot of Estelle Luce's portrait.

"It's good that people are there and that they show that we are all with them and that we all share this pain. She was a wonderful person," said one participant.

"We know her companion, the family very well, we are there for them, to support them. It was a very nice tribute, she was a wonderful person. We will keep her lovely smile", considers a relative of the victim.

This is also what another participant will remember: "A pleasant girl, always smiling, a caring person who was loving for her children".

There are many who have a thought for loved ones.

"The unthinkable has happened," said another participant.

After the time of emotion will undoubtedly come that of justice, even if, for the moment, the link has not yet been formally established with the two murders in Ardèche and in Drôme.
