Klingenthal (dpa) - Germany's best ski jumpers were in a really bad mood.
World champion Markus Eisenbichler once again uttered one of his famous curses ("Lick my ass") when leaving the Vogtland Arena in Klingenthal, and Karl Geiger waved his hand in disappointment after the first round.
In the first of two individual vaults at the home game, Eisenbichler was ninth, the Allgäu Geiger got it as 32nd even worse.
But also «Eisei», as the overall World Cup runner-up from Bavaria is called, was served.
“I'm a long way from being satisfied.
I just can't fly.
It's a shitty feeling, it pisses me off, ”the 29-year-old grumbled in the usual clarity on ZDF.
