Today, the teenager who is suspected of having been involved in the fatal fire in Anneberg on Monday night was arrested.

Prosecutor Helen Thomasson demanded that he be arrested on suspicion of murder and arson.

The district court followed the prosecutor's line and detained the boy because it is considered that there is a risk that he could remove evidence.

The teenager is also subject to restrictions.

He is suspected of the crimes for probable cause, which is the higher degree of suspicion.

A woman was found dead after the fire, the circumstances surrounding how she died are not clear, but the prosecutor believes that it is about murder and arson.

Arrested after the fire

The teenager and two other young people were arrested on Tuesday and arrested.

However, the other two were released after suspicions against it weakened.

However, they are still suspected in the investigation.

The prosecutor also initiated an investigation under the law with special provisions on young offenders.

A person, who is under 15 years old and can be suspected of the acts, has been heard by prosecutors and police in the presence of a legal assistant to try to clarify what happened in connection with the murder fire.

Below, Rickard Finndahl, head of Serious Crime in the Highlands, talks about the investigation.
