The trial against him began on Friday at the Frankfurt Regional Court.

The prosecution accuses him of murder of greed and base motives.
In order to get the woman's condominium in Frankfurt-Nied and a holiday home in Spain, the defendant killed the 43-year-old victim in October 2019, the indictment read out.
The defendant reported the woman to the police as missing.
At the beginning of last year, bone fragments containing DNA traces of the missing persons were seized from the garbage dump in Flörsheim-Wicker.
According to the indictment, the 38-year-old had disposed of the body in a garbage compactor at his place of work.
He had already become involved in contradictions with the police when he reported missing persons.
The presiding judge of the jury court pointed out that the man's girlfriend had moved into the apartment just a few days after the missing person was reported.
In addition, the defendant personally arranged for the dumpster to be emptied.
