The accident has resulted in 10 deaths and 1 missing. Three others were rescued.
On the evening of the 4th, 14 villagers from Mashan Village, Xiacang Town, Susong County were fishing in the waters of a tributary of the Yangtze River and accidentally capsized. Three of them rescued themselves and went ashore. The other 11 lost contact.
Subsequently, many missing persons were searched and rescued ashore, but they had no signs of life.
As of 20 o'clock on the 5th, the death toll in the accident has increased to 10, and one person is still missing.
At present, a joint investigation team composed of emergency, public security and other departments is investigating the specific time of the capsize and the specific cause of the accident.
