Macron commented on Sputnik V's publication in The Lancet

“Thanks to The Lancet, we now have more information about the Russian Sputnik V vaccine and Russia's readiness to register it in Europe,” the head of state quoted TASS as saying.

Macron previously noted that France could not distribute the Sputnik V vaccine until the Russian manufacturer applied for registration with European authorities.

As stated in the RDIF, the Russian vaccine can be approved for use in the EU in March, the fund has submitted the necessary documents.
