Inter Milan put pressure on AC Milan by taking, at least for 48 hours, the lead of the Italian Championship thanks to an uneventful victory on the ground of Fiorentina (2-0) Friday at the opening of the 21st day.

Against a Viola without much relief in the absence of Franck Ribéry, victim of a "small physical problem", Nicolo Barella opened the scoring with a nice shot worked right (31st).

Inter took off at the start of the second half thanks to the legs of Achraf Hakimi who found Ivan Perisic at the far post for 2-0 (52nd).

With 47 points, the Nerazzurri are temporarily installed in the leader's chair.

To keep it Sunday evening at the end of the 21st day, however, Milan (46 pts) should not win at home against the red lantern Crotone.
