Guildford / Munich (dpa) - The industrial gases group Linde wants to earn even more in the current year after a significant increase in profits in 2020.
The earnings per share adjusted for one-off effects is expected to increase to 9.10 to 9.30 US dollars in 2021, as the company listed in the Dax announced on Friday in Guildford near London.
In 2020, Linde generated adjusted earnings per share of $ 8.23 on a comparable basis, compared with $ 7.34 in the previous year.
Adjusted profit does not include, among other things, costs for the merger.
Revenue in 2020 shrank 3.5 percent year-on-year to $ 27.24 billion.
